Tom shows promise of giving the Giants their best punting since the days of Don Chandler. Last year his 42.7 average was good for seventh in the league. New York's No. 3 quarterback, Tom completed his only pass attempt off a fake punt.
Winning three letters at Oregon as a quarterback and punter, Tom holds the college records for most touchdown passes in one game (4) and career punting average (41.7).
